Currently El Dorado Hills has only two police officers on duty on Friday nights to cover an area as far as Cameron Park. Despite their best efforts to provide public security, two police officers are not enough. Many residents complain of slow response times, inadequate 911 supports, and no ability for police officers to get directions to the location of the caller.

As a city, we can do better. We need more police officers on the beat, who know our kids and who will be given the resources in order to do their job to the best of their abilities. We cannot continue to demand more of our police department while providing them with less and less resources to meet these increased demands.

I will also strive for better traffic control through the building of new roads and the optimization of traffic flow patterns and direction.

As your city councilmember, I will advocate the building of new parks for the use, enjoyment and benefit of all residents of the City of El Dorado Hills.

I will also work to ensure that local permits for businesses are efficient and prompt, El Dorado Hills City Hall being staffed by caring and competent personnel.
